Come a long way from the days when education was often perceived to be synonymous with just literacy. Today, it is home to over 1.5 million schools, 1026 UGC recognised universities, and over 38,000 colleges and 12,000 stand-alone institutions.

However, in an age of disruptive education, when the established models of education are still anchored in the last century, there is an urgent need to enhance the education system and bridge the gap between the knowledge seeker and the knowledge provider. As globalisation keeps breaking down geographical and aspirational boundaries, the world seems to have become a global education hub. Hence, to meet the requirements of a disruptive digital era and avail the opportunities provided by the global education hub, customising education and communicating the available avenues within and outside India to the students and educators at every level is the need of the hour.
